How to get to Tsurumi Island at Genshin Impact

The Genshin Impact 2.2 update has been released globally with the addition of the long-awaited Thoma character, new weapons, bosses, and more. Along with this, a new area called Tsurumi Island has also been added to the game for travelers to explore.

Tsurumi Island is filled with fog, and as they progress through the game, travelers will be given a commission to travel to this area. Players can find remarkable chests, Flouroscenet mushrooms as they explore the island and encounter enemies, including Rifthound Whelp and Rifthound.

Tsurumi Island: where it is and how to reach it

Tsurumi Island is located south of Inazuma and first you will need to unlock it by completing the world mission Seirai Stormchasers in Genshin Impact. Next, you will find a new world mission called “A Particularly Distinct Author” in the missions tab.

The search will start in Inazuma Island and eventually lead you to Tsurumi Island. In this quest, players will first need to speak to Katheryne at Inazuma Adventurer's Guild, where she will ask you to speak to Sumida for a commission.

Sumida will ask you to help her get to Tsurumi Island so that she can participate in the “This Novel is Amazing” event. She will give you a letter which you will need to deliver to Kama by traveling or teleporting to Ritou.

There you will board the Kama boat and it will take you to Tsurumi Island. You can navigate to the nearest Statue of Seven to make the entire area visible on the map.
