Resident Evil: Revelations 2, the video confrontation between next-gen and PC

Today is the day of Resident Evil: Revelations 2. After the various events related to offline co-op, reviews and votes, now we cannot exempt ourselves from video confrontation between consoles. A price that we pay with pleasure every time.

Resident Evil Revelations: All news

This time it's a three-way video confrontation PS4, Xbox One and PC, based on video quality, resolution and so on. As always, DigitalFoundry makes it happen. Well, from the comparison apparently the platform that comes out best seems to be that of Microsoft. On PS4, in fact, the framerate of Resident Evil: Revelations 2 drops often, and sometimes there are real collapses that do not occur on Xbox One, but it almost always remains at 60 fps. On the PC, on the other hand, the quality is more or less the same as that of the consoles even with the highest settings, but the antialiasing and other effects put the PC version only in third place for quality. Here is the video comparison.

Resident Evil: Revelations 2, offline co-op doesn't work on PC

Users who downloaded on PC the first episode of Resident Evil: Revelations 2 they will surely have been disappointed. In fact, the co-op offlinee.

Also read our Resident Evil: Revelations 2 review.

Resident Evil Revelations: All news

This mode, present on all consoles, is missing on computers, and so players are forced to end the episode exclusively in single player. The disappointment is double considering that Capcom hadn't really talked about it before the launch. Immediate, of course, the reaction of the users who on the Steam page of the game have started to shoot at zero on the developers. We will see what Capcom will respond, in the meantime, however, if you are trying to activate co-op on PC, know that it is not possible to do so.

Resident Evil Revelations 2 on December on Nintendo 3DS?

In the past few hours, the frame of an alleged Resident Evil Revelations 2 promotional poster for Nintendo 3DS has appeared on the web, complete with a release date in plain sight: December 3 2013. Unfortunately, however, we have no confirmation regarding the veracity of the image.

Resident Evil Revelations: All news Resident Evil Revelations was released in 2012 on Nintendo 3DS and in May it also arrived on Wii U, PC, Xbox 360 and PS3 with some success. A sequel is quite possible, however the poster has something strange, the logo for example is not particularly convincing. In any case, we are waiting for a confirmation or a denial from Capcom, remember that in recent weeks an alleged Resident Evil 7 poster had also appeared on the net which then turned out to be absolutely false.

Resident Evil Revelations HD, demo available for everyone

As promised Capcom has released the playable demo of Resident Evil Revelations HD, a spin-off of the saga released in 2012 on Nintendo 3DS and which is now preparing to return in HD version on PC, Xbox 360, PlayStation 3 and Wii U. The Resident Evil Revelations HD demo weighs about 600 MB and allows you to try a small portion of the first part of the adventure. In the role of Jill Valentine we will have to escape from an abandoned ship ready to sink. But it won't be easy, because zombies are always on the prowl. Resident Evil Revelations HD will be available in stores from 24st May while the demo is already downloadable on PC, Xbox 360 and Wii U, the PlayStation 3 version will be released in the afternoon with the usual weekly PlayStation Store update.

Resident Evil: Revelations - The multiplayer after the single player

The latest news just baked on Resident Evil: Revelations it will not make players happy, it seems in fact that the multiplayer compartment will be locked until the single player adventure is completed.

Resident Evil Revelations: All news

That's right… within RE: Revelations the two-player cooperative mode called RAID, a modality that will be available - according to the latest rumors - only after completing the entire storyline of the single player game. This is not an official news, but the sources that report it are various and all very reliable. If so, the choice made by Capcom would be decidedly unclear and will certainly trigger very soon gripes from fans.

So we just have to wait for an official communication from Capcom about all this and hope that it is not necessary to complete a storyline of eight hours or so to unlock a multiplayer mode with which to spend time with a friend.
