What are dismemberment rounds and how to get them in Call of Duty: Modern Warfare

A feature in Call of Duty: Modern Warfare Season XNUMX is called the Dismemberment Round. They work differently from traditional rounds in which they obliterate an opponent's limbs, causing them to fly. Traditional rounds damage and kill opponents, but dismember rounds have unique death animations after you defeat them.

Dismember rounds do nothing different until you kill your opponent. Once you do this, your opponent's limbs will fly. For example, if you shoot an opponent in the chest and hit their arms, they fly. The same goes for the legs and the head explodes if you hit it correctly. It is much more brutal than the other rounds of the game.

To get these dismemberment rounds you need to have the correct gun. Not all weapons in the game can use them. All weapons that can use it require you to complete a blueprint. The most important weapons are the ones you can buy from the in-game shop. They will have a red font on the left side of the screen when you try to buy them and it says the dismemberment effect next to it, and most of them are bundled with particular operators.

These are the weapons that use dismemberment strikes:

    • Asunder (Brutalizer)
    • Black Bear (Talon Operator)
    • Bludgeoner (Club Operator)
    • Elf Ruth (Talon Operator)
    • Heresy (Spark Operator)
    • Insurgency (Iskra Operator)
    • Skullhammer (Mace Operator)
    • Torn (Brutalizer)

Unfortunately, dismemberment rounds aren't something you can get in-game and add to guns. They are only in particular weapons.
