Resident Evil 7 (RE 7) it's a fascinating game full of mystery it's easy to miss something or get stuck in certain areas, so here's one complete solution to complete the game 100%. We will try not to spoil as much as possible, but in some sections it will unfortunately be unavoidable.

The path to the villa

The game starts with you in the car, you can look around but you don't have the possibility to interact with objects or drive. Get off and take the only road available, it will lead you to the huge Baker mansion. Unfortunately (or fortunately) the gate is closed and no one will come to open you, so you are forced to turn left and go straight. As you advance you will come across a broken-down van and by opening the hatch you will find a book to examine: you will not be able to collect it but try to remember the title because it will come in handy later. At this point you can not help but continue and, once you reach a disturbing gate with a kind of effigy made with animal remains, all you have to do is get down and crawl (watch out for the crows). 

At this point, continuing along the road you will arrive at the guest house, the prologue location of the game. Before entering, retrieve Mia's driver's license from the purse on the floor next to the garbage.

The guest house

Take a deep breath and enter the guest house, get used to the almost total absence of light and try to look around. The door behind you is closed and you can't escape, so take the hallway with the chain locker and make your way to the kitchen. Looking around the room you will find newspaper clippings and objects to interact with, but you won't be able to pick up practically anything (hopefully you have a strong stomach). At this point take heart and go beyond the kitchen, at the crossroads go up the stairs and ignore the flashing switch for the moment. On the table in front of you you will find two things: an old tape recorder with which to manually save the game and a VHS cassette. After taking it go down the stairs and turn right, you will reach a small room where all the doors will be closed except one. Opening it you will find yourself in the living room, a large dark room in which it is possible to interact with many objects (even in this case, however, we cannot collect anything). Ignore the fuses on the right for now and point directly at the old TV, insert the collected cassette upstairs and enjoy the movie.


The video shows you a group of three people who came into the house to record a broadcast on paranormal entities, the tone is initially joking but it soon degenerates. In this section for obvious reasons you cannot collect anything and you find yourself retracing the path taken a few minutes earlier in the shoes of another character. The most important passage of the video is about halfway: we can in fact see that in the fireplace to the left of the TV there is a button that unlocks a secret passage. At this point, finish the video and return as Ethan.

Activate the secret passage seen in the video and go down the ladder, you will find dossiers and images to be examined useful for the plot. At this point go straight and ... surprise! In the cell in front of you is Mia, the woman for whom you have reached that remote villa is a few meters away from you and you can reach her. Open the cell door and interact with her, but first grab the pliers on the table to your left. Also in the cell you will find various objects to study and observe, but soon you will have to leave that place and follow your terrified wife. Let Mia lead the way, don't touch the phone for now and retrieve the complete map of the setting in the cabinet with the lamp. Go ahead and open the door on the left: you will reach a disgusting bathroom where you can collect two very useful medical solutions (one is in the cabinet, the other in front of you).

At this point, go back to the part of the house you have already visited through the passage (remember to save first), go to the cupboard with the chain before the kitchen and use the tongs. Retrieve the fuse, go to the living room and insert it in the only available slot (you can easily orient yourself with the map, there are the names of all the individual rooms). Go back to the ladder, go up and press the switch you ignored earlier: this will give you access to the attic. Absolutely remember to retrieve the gun and ammo in the room to the right and when you are ready go up the ladder in front of you. Here you will face your first boss, to defeat him you do not need special tactics and it is enough to shoot precisely. 


Dinner with the enemy (dining room and corridor)

After a daring series of events, you find yourself having dinner with the entire Baker family. Enjoy the movie, then get out of your chair and start looking around. Ignore Granny, she won't bother you for the moment, and take some time to peruse the newspaper clippings and items in plain sight in the dining room and living room. Then go to the small kitchen, just in front of the table, and retrieve the healing herb from the garbage can.

At this point, exit the kitchen and take the long corridor that runs along the entire lower floor of the villa: your goal is to retrieve the key on top of the cabinet while avoiding being discovered and killed by Jack. The good Baker is extremely strong, but he is also quite slow so you shouldn't have too much trouble getting around him (watch out for the shovel!). After recovering the key, enter the breach Jack opened and use it on the hatch in the upper left corner of the room (if you have time you can also stop and examine the objects present). Go down the hatch, close the passage behind you and go straight, retrieve the ancient coin on the lawnmower and reach the safe room.

BOSS - Garage and fight with Jack

Exit the safe room, go to the front door and talk to the new NPC (we won't tell you who). Accept the knife and use it to break the Mr. Everywhere figurine at the end of the corridor, avoid wasting shots unnecessarily on these collectibles. In the locked cabinet there is only a medical fluid, you decide whether to use the lockpick or not.

At this point, take the ladder that leads to the garage (you can't go wrong), use the knife to break the insulating tape and press the big red button to raise the shutter. Before entering remember to break the box with the yellow tape, you will recover some ammunition that will be very useful later on. 

At this point you will find yourself in a one-on-one confrontation with dear old Jack. The first thing to do is to retrieve the gun from the ground (it is immediately behind Mr. Baker), at this point avoid the shovel shots and run to the box to the right of the front door. After retrieving the car keys you entered, start the engine and run over Jack until an animated sequence starts. After finishing the fight, retrieve the chemical fluid, herbs and first aid kit from the garage (it's all in the furniture along the walls). 

Blue dog head

At this point grab the ladder and climb on the scaffolding of the garage, recover the ammunition for the shotgun and the piece of the golden mosaic (from which you will have to remove the statue of the bull). Leave the garage and go back to the corridor you came from, use the statue obtained shortly before to open the door to the entrance hall. 

After entering, break the Mr. Everywhere figurine to the right of the entrance and answer the phone. Take some time to peruse the room and take a look at the newspaper clippings and pictures there. As you can see the main door is locked and it takes three dog heads to unlock it, but before you go on your research there are a couple of things to do. Ignore the room with the shotgun and the room with the projector for now, retrieve the gunpowder from the closet and the antique coin from the drawer of the nearby cabinet. Go back to the door you entered and retrieve the healing herb, then head to the closet under the stairs and collect the chemical fluid (combine it with the herb immediately). 

At this point, take a flight of stairs (no matter what) and head to the playroom (it is very easy to reach and is clearly marked on the map). Here you will find a book and, by opening it, you will get the first dog head, the blue one. We also advise you to watch the VHS cassette thanks to the TV present, it is not mandatory but it is still a fun interlude. 

Before leaving the games room, examine the objects present, recover the gunpowder from the basket and the ancient coin (it is near the closed door of the grandmother's room, in the area you will also find a Mr. Everywhere state to smash).

At this point, leave the room and go out onto the long balcony. At the end you will find a chest to break with some ammo for the gun, while continuing there is a cabinet with weed and chemical fluid to combine. Reach the bathroom and retrieve the ancient coin in the toilet, in the drawer between the sinks you can collect some ammunition for the gun so take advantage of it. Before leaving the room, empty the tub (yuck) e retrieve a strange wooden object that will come in handy in the projector room on the ground floor. While you perform these operations, the good Jack will come back to visit you but don't worry too much, aim for the head and spread him out for the time necessary to escape. 

White dog head

At this point, go down again to the hall in front of the entrance e head to the old clock to retrieve the pendulum. After doing this, go back to the living room next to the dining room (that of the Baker dinner) and insert the pendulum in the clock: in this way you will immediately get the white dog head. 

Now all you have to do is go back to the hall, insert the dog heads recovered in the door and then head to the projector room: here you have to use the wooden object found in the bathroom and create a shadow similar to the one depicted in the painting. in front of you (does not have to be exactly identical). After doing so, confirm and go to a new area of ​​the house. 

I micomorfi

Welcome to a new area of ​​the house! The first thing to do is to retrieve the bullets for the shotgun behind the frame, then collect the bullets under the deer, take the stimulants on the table (they will be very useful) and open the fridge to get the chemical fluid to combine with the grass ( you can find it in the vase). Now break the box in the room for more ammo (you can also find some in the cabinet drawer) and move on to the next room. Here you will find a locked box (inside there are bullets for the shotgun), some objects to examine and some gunpowder.

Continuing along the only road available you will meet the Moldeds for the first time but don't be too scared. These monsters are dangerous, but with a little calm and precision you can get rid of them quickly. Never aim for the body and always aim your head and arms to make them jump (always activate the guard before receiving a hit). Continuing you will find a flight of stairs and a door, avoid the first and head towards the second: it is a useful save point where you will also find several ammunition.

The Key of the Scorpio

At this point you should have everything you need to make a killing, so exit the room and head to the flight of stairs you ignored earlier. Get out and slaughter anything that stands in front of you. Ignore the door on the right, go straight and at the crossroads open the blue door here you will find a fundamental object: the key of the scorpion (he's in the middle of that lousy substance). Before leaving the room take the map of the area on the wall, the ancient coin from the slot (you have to kneel), the photo showing you the location of the treasure (the room is that of the deer, you will find an upgrade for the maximum life), smash the boxes to get the ammo, collect all the herbs and take the lockpick from the fridge.

At this point, take a deep breath and get ready because the situation will heat up very soon.

Unlock the rifle

Leave the room and retrace the path you took just before until you return to the point where you saved the last time. You will meet several enemies along the way, you decide whether to escape or face them with your gun. Arrived at your destination you will find on the opposite side of the corridor a closed door with the symbol of the scorpion, open it and ... surprise! You are back in the salon. Resume the stairs and orient yourself with the map go to grandma's room to open the door with the scorpion key (beware of Mr. Baker). 

After entering Grandma's room, grab the shotgun ammo on the bed, the pistol ammo in the cabinet, the gasoline in front of the cabinet and the chemical fluid on the side of the room. A rifle is also present but unfortunately it is broken. At this point, go back to the main hall and go to the room with the statue with the gun, take it and replace it with the broken one to go out. The shotgun you placed on the statue will come in handy later, more on that later. 

The enigma of the incinerator (the last dog's head)

At this point you have to go back again and reach the area where you found the scorpion key (save first). This time do not open the blue door but aim for the other one, you will find yourself in a room with various incinerators and you will have to solve a simple puzzle. First open the one on the far right, then the one with the red hand and finally the one on the far left. After doing this, kill the molded and retrieve the key to the autopsy room. Collect the gunpowder before leaving the room.

Use the map you found earlier to reach the autopsy room but get ready, along the way you will encounter many enemies who will try to surround you. Use the shotgun if necessary, do not waste shots and make a clean sweep. Along the way you should find various ammo and some grass in a hole in the wall. Open the autopsy room and take a moment to look around: find the ammo in front of you and the grass (it's all on display, why do you think?) And start climbing the stairs. Immediately turn right, get the chemical fluid and then continue up the ladder to get the last dog head.

BOSS - Jack (chainsaw)

Him again? Him again. There are two ways to deal with this boss: either you fill him with shots or you kick the bodies hanging around the room by sending them on him. Very busy Jack will switch to heavy paraphernalia and you will have to be quicker and more precise, but the basic strategy remains the same. 

At some point the good Jack will drop his weapon and charge you by breaking through a grate, take advantage of it and retrieve the chainsaw to switch from prey to hunters (you can find it just behind the grate Jack broke). At this stage of the battle there are no particular strategies, tear him apart by taking advantage of the moments in which he is unbalanced. 

Outside the Villa

You took down Jack and recovered the last dog head, what more do you want? Return triumphantly to the entrance hall and enter it in the main door, you can finally exit. There are several items to collect before continuing, take the plant on the left and the lockpick from the pot on the right, leave the porch and turn right to retrieve an ancient coin, but first grab the gunpowder and grass that are there. right in the last part of the area immediately in front of the entrance. Then break the warped iron and go under the porch to get the repair kit. 

At this point, head to the trailer, take the chemical fluid and the gunpowder, stop for a moment and then get on board. Inside are cages with some extremely interesting items: in fact we have a power-up for life, a whole new weapon and an upgrade to the ability to reload the weapon (now you are faster and more precise). You also find an ancient coin and this is the currency that allows you to buy the various upgrades. 

Exploring the caravan you will also find a broken gun, decide whether to repair it with the kit you found a little while ago (it is slightly higher than the one you already have).

At this point, answer the phone, exit the trailer and go left. After a while you will reach a small bridge (the same as in Mia's box), cross it and break the boxes to get the ammo. 

Enter the house in front of you and head to the guest room, watch out for the bugs and try to save ammo by using the knife if necessary. Continuing you will reach a crossroads, turn left and recover the fuel under the table on the left. At this point, go straight, go out to the balcony and take the ammo, the chemical fluid and the burner handle. After doing this, go over the bridge and reach the new safe room, here you will find a nice backpack that will significantly improve your inventory.

After saving, go back to the fork from before and go right you will find several enemies but you shouldn't have any problems. After clearing up, take the fuel from the cupboard, the first aid kit from the drawer (it's locked) and the ammunition. Then go on entering the next room and getting gunpowder, psychostimulants and a lockpick (you have to turn the corner).

After taking everything out, go left and continue until you find a building: here you can get a map and the burner nozzle. The latter must be combined with the handle, in this way you will get a perfect weapon to use against insects. 

The Raven Key

Go back to the house infested with insects and burn them mercilessly, they must explode at least three times before they die. Burn the spiders on the chest (sending them away with your bare hands would take damage but you would get a trophy), open the door to the right of the cabinet and take out the nest. At this point, bend down and take the passage you have opened to take the ancient coin. Continue past the passage and pick up the wooden object, then watch the video and take the door on the right going back. 

Try to avoid Mrs. Baker as much as possible and kill insects, go straight and reach the room with the projector (also find a moment to destroy the nest, take out the spiders and take the map and fuel). 

Now solve the shadow puzzle with the wooden object (it is identical to that of my box or that of the entrance hall) and open the secret passage. Take the map on the left, the fuel and slip into the only hole present. 

Take the crank and unlock the passage to return to the entrance of the house, go back to where you found the burner nozzle and use the crank to open a new path. Then go further and always use the crank to operate the bridge and thus retrieve the raven key, some fuel and an ancient coin in the toilet.

The grenade launcher

Now you have to go back to the villa (happy huh?), reach the room with the deer and use the crow key, you shouldn't encounter any enemies in the area. You will then reach a closet where you can get ammunition, chemical fluid, fuel and a splendid grenade launcher (with relative ammunition, you can craft them with more combustible fluid).

Now you have everything you need, exit the mansion and return to the lovely Mrs Baker in her main house. 

BOSS – Marguerite

After having a friendly chat with the good Jack in the mansion it's time to come to terms with his better half: Marguerite. To start the fight it is necessary to open the crow's door beyond the bridge activated with the crank.

This boss fight is not particularly insidious and will take you to face hordes and hordes of insects sent by the woman. Do not charge it when it falls into the well and run away because you would only take damage, use the shotgun to hit it when it shows up and try not to waste too much ammo. Blow by blow Marguerite will start to falter and after a while she will finally die. To beat this boss, therefore, all you need is precision and bullets. Do not try to climb the ladder while she is still alive because you will find yourself having to deal with insects.

You killed Marguerite too, good feeling right? Now go up the ladder, open the door, examine the objects related to the plot and answer the phone. Continue, recover the ancient coin from the cabinet and reach the barred door. After doing this, go back to the well near which you fought just before to get Marguerite's lantern and solve the puzzle.

At this point you will find yourself on the road to the greenhouse and you can open a gate to quickly return to the caravan and the villa. Save, power up and take the ladder to reach the greenhouse, retrieve the plants in the pots, the fuel and the chemical fluid on the tables, consider taking the incendiary ammunition in the closed drawer and throw yourself in the opening. Here you will find some psychostimulants while in the closet with the spiders you can get ammo for the rifle and fluid.

BOSS - Marguerite (second fight)

But who sees himself! This time you will have to face a slightly different version of Marguerite which we will not say anything about so as not to spoil. Fill her with shots and shoot everything you have at her without restraint, try to aim for the belly but don't be too scrupulous. Use the flamethrower to take out the insects that will try to attack you and take advantage of the quiet moments to get your ammunition back. Be very careful when it disappears or when it climbs to the ceiling because it intends to throw itself on you suddenly, so never let your guard down. 

When you finally take down the monster take the lantern and go back to the barred door we talked about earlier. 

The key to the snake 

You killed Marguerite and the bugs are finally a thing of the past. At this point, use the lantern recovered after the boss battle and open the barred door, use the crow key, continue to the children's room and enter the hidden door behind the dollhouse.  Make sure you pick up the arm, then go out, go to the good old trailer (save and upgrade each time) and answer the phone. 

At this point, re-enter the villa and head to the autopsy room using the map to orient yourself. Examine all the objects around the character you find, follow Lucas' orders and retrieve the snake key. 

Now things are starting to get interesting, you will no longer be able to wander around the villa as if nothing had happened because you will meet many more hostile entities. Always be on your guard and ALWAYS check the rooms before entering, only in this way you can avoid unpleasant surprises. 

Exit the autopsy room, go right and take the ladder, then use the snake key and enter. Watch out for the Moldeds present and return to the entrance hall, then go up the flight of stairs and head to the bedroom. Use the snake key again, go inside and get the chemical fluid in the closet, the plant in the drawer, the lockpick in the box and the clock. 

Then go to the closet and take the photo of the treasure, the upgrade for the backpack and the plant. After doing this, go back to the bedroom, use the clock and open the secret passage by adjusting the time (you can check it in the main hall).

Red magnetic key

Enter the secret passage and get the upgraded ammo and the red key card. Since the door behind you has closed, you have to go through the basement of the house to get out and face several enemies. This particular section of the game is not at all simple but there are no particular tactics, try not to discover yourself too much and be precise so as not to waste an excessive number of shots. After a tough battle you will finally be able to get out, at this point all you have to do is go back to the playroom and grandma's room. 

Blue key card and Happy Birthday Video Cassette

Use the snake key and enter Lucas' old room, retrieve the plant from the pot, the ammo under the table and in the cabinet and the lockpick on the counter. Go to the lamp / trophy, flip the switch and head to the attic, examine the toy ax and toy rifle behind the ladder. At this point, retrieve the "Happy Birthday" box and solve the usual puzzle with the shadows to open the dollhouse (it does not change anything compared to the previous ones but if you solve it in 5 minutes you will also unlock the related objective trophy).

Retrieve the chemical fluid and take the blue key card, then leave the room and head towards the front door.

If you want, you can now replace the broken shotgun on the statue with the toy shotgun and use the repair kit to get an upgraded shotgun. 

Leave the villa, take out the micomorphs and head for the trailer. Go inside and look at the "Happy Birthday" tape you recovered a while ago, it is not mandatory but we advise you to do it anyway because it can be fun. 

First you have to take the candle, then go to the room with the cake, go out and re-light your candle with the gas from the stove.. Unlock the locked door with the rope using the fire, enter and take the balloon from the closet, then exit, turn right, combine the balloon with the tube and retrieve the pen. 

At this point, go back to where you started, pull the drain, retrieve the telescope and walk under the water to wash it. Then use the telescope to watch the TV and memorize the writing, then go back to the cake room. Once there, open the box with the memorized inscription and take the doll. Set the doll on fire on the gas and take her finger, then go to the entrance and put the pen in her hand. At this point, use the crank and discover the password with which to open the balloon room and collect the handle. Go back to the cake room and use the handle on the left pipe before relighting all the candles.

Enter Lucas' house and retrieve the floor plan at the end of the hall, then turn right. Enter the room and be careful, there are traps so walk down and get the ammo in the box and on the shelf. Slowly open the next door and watch out for the trap, then shoot one of the traps and go through unscathed. 

Once in the corridor break the first box and ignore the second (it's a trap!), Then take the stairs and continue into the next room. At this point, turn around and shoot the cable, then bend down (it's essential!) And enter the passage.

Eventually you will reach a door, open it and deactivate the traps with the gun, then take the coin from the drawer and the steroids (forget the yellow box). At this point go on and recover the grass (on the right) and the ammunition (in the straw), beware of the enemies because you should encounter several of them. After killing them continue, reach the safe room and save.

Leave the safe room and turn left, smash the box on the left and retrieve the chemical fluid. Now continue, go down the stairs and retrieve the ammo for the shotgun in the box in the corner and in the one on the table, a car battery and the ammo for the gun in the box next to the battery. Don't break any boxes other than the ones we said. 

At this point all you have to do is put the battery in its slot and prepare for combat, you should have all the ammo you need. Try to stay at a distance and always aim for the head, don't be afraid to use the shotgun if necessary. 

After finishing the fight, take the elevator heading upstairs, go down the corridor and reach the new room. Take the chemical fluid in the library, analyze the body and note the number. Finally, retrieve the ancient coin on the shelf. 

After taking the coin on the shelf, all you have to do is activate the scale by pressing the appropriate button. Go down and use the clue found on the body a little while ago to unlock the door, then leave everything you have in the trunk and continue. At this point, all you have to do is repeat the sequence of the “Happy Birthday” cassette with some variations. First of all take the candle, then go to the cake room and let it go out. Turn it back on and burn the rope using the fire, then enter the balloon room and use the password Loser. At this point ignore the key in the barrel and take the valve, go back to the cake room and attach it to the pipe. To conclude, go again to light the candles on the cake.

Supplies 

The situation is about to get explosive, immediately run to the right and grab the bomb, then head to the wall and let the bomb pass. BOSS – Jack (mutato)

Before leaving the safe room, find stimulants, grenades, fuel, shotgun ammo and grass near the stairs. Then save, watch the cutscene and get ready to face Jack's final form. To defeat him you will not have to work hard, just remember to always aim for the eyes, to heal yourself when needed and not to recharge at the wrong time. For the rest, good aim combined with a good number of ammunition is sufficient (always use the guard!). Always stay on the move and try to disorient him by going from one floor to another, only in this way you can catch him in the most insidious points. Shot after shot the boss will fall and you will have escaped death again this time.

Mia oh Zoe?

At this point you can make a decision that will change the end of the game, you can choose whether to save Mia or Zoe. We don't want to do too many spoilers so we will try to say as little as possible ... By saving your dear wife later you will no longer have to deal with her, while by saving Zoe you will be forced to fight her again. The sequence of events will change, but we don't want to reveal more. Warning: to complete the game 100% it is necessary to play both possible scenarios. 

Hunt for the fuse 

After making your decision enjoy the cutscene, then move on, enter the new room and watch the flashback. Use the passage on the ground, throw yourself down and at the crossroads take the road to the right to recover the ancient coin. After doing this, retrace your steps, go left and continue, before using the ladder make sure you take the ancient coin on the left. 

At this point, a precise sequence should start and in the end you should find yourself trapped and with no way out. First take a look at the map and the area, you should see a panel without a fuse.
